Alex had a miraculous experience in 1978 where he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time in his life while sitting on a park bench. Although it took him several years to connect with a local church, he was eventually led to New Destiny Christian Church in El Centro, California, in 1982 and the rest is history. Alex came from a past filled with sin and bondage, but after being saved, he was gloriously delivered, supernaturally healed, and restored from every imaginable bondage. At the age of 15, he felt called by God to preach. In 1992, he was launched into the harvest field to pioneer a church in the San Fernando Valley, where he continues to serve to this day. During his “Tour of Duty,” Alex has successfully planted six new churches within the United States and three international works.
He has traveled to different parts of the world, including the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, Peru, Ecuador, and Europe, to preach the Gospel. His ministry is characterized by the Supernatural Power of God, which is reflected in the numerous individuals who have come to Christ and the miracles, signs, and wonders. He delivers his sermons with the same fervor regardless of whether he is addressing a small group of believers in the Jungle or a multitude of people in his Healing and Deliverance Crusades.
Alex and his wife Lorena have a ministry that focuses on setting captives free and igniting joy, hope, and passion in the hearts of their listeners. As Alex puts it, “With God’s Word, we can reach into the depths of a person’s soul and remove anything that may hinder their spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical health.” God’s Word is infallible and has the power to transform lives.
He is well-known for delivering messages that offer hope, healing, restoration, and deliverance. He delights in preaching on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and emphasizes that the supernatural should be a regular occurrence in the lives of believers and in the Church of Jesus Christ.
His motto is, “No one is ever too far gone for Jesus. There is always hope!”
